DJ Contracts:
I want to start using a DJ contract, especially since I'm doing more corporate events and weddings. Do any of you guys use a DJ contract and if so can I get a sample copy to use as a template for making my own?

Spazz,
Do keep in mind that I will eventually get to all of this on my webcasts.
Drafting agreements, legal advice, etc.

If you are serious about your profession, then a contract is a must. It covers both you and the client.
I have had clients that did not want to sign a contract but those are very few, this is when you have to explain to them that it is not only good for you but for them also.
Now keep in mind that when you create a contract you only want to add on it a few things like Name of client, address, place of location, date, hours of service, price, you also want to state what happens if you could not perform for some time because of accident or flat tire or whatever else happens to us. Make sure you add how you are to reimburse the client. Also, state on it your return checks policy and about the protection to your equipment. Remember, you do not want to scare the client away with too many restrictions on your contract. So be brief and cover your azz in case of anything.
I will email you my copy when I get home, send me a pm with your email.

Digital,
I was checking out this contract thread and I thought this was pretty funny. Yes, that would be something else if those url links lasted 4+ years.
Dude, I'm diggin the Digital Morph Avatar. Not really sure what else to call it but a morph avatar. Actually, a buddy of mine on Myspace has one where his face changes into his pet wolf. I'd love to learn how you go about these sorts of digitizing tricks.
