i am confused on what to get.. i really love the dx-1500 and it features and abilities butit is of course very pricey..

First off congrats on purchasing the 5000s. I guess we need to know what you or your wife can afford to better offer some suggestions.

i am a novice to the machines themselves but i have been actively using a few programs on my computer(PCDJ & Virtual Dj) i have a few things that i have done and have been told good things. the only problem is that i am my own worst critic.. so i will perfect the art with 5k's.. which in my opinion are the best thing out there.. although the 3500's are nice and i was headed in that direction..
anyway enuff babeling on to the questions..
if i can get the best i will go for it.. i don't believe in getting something 4 right now and get the best later.. so i'd rather learn with the best equipment.
so what's the best way to go cuz i have heard that RANE is a really good one as well..
holla back

u got 2 5ks... better get a nice 4 channel mixer for them coz "1 5k=2 players" ;)
the Dnx-1500 shall be best for you.

yo yo yo... congrats on your new players. what kind of music u spin do u need the alpha feature if not u can get some good vestax mixer. the denon x1500 is the best mixer not better than rane ttm-56 but for 2 channels its so amazing and that like the same price or higher than the x1500 check it out.

The x1500 is no where close to being the best mixer. It lacks in build quality (for example, the buttons), lacks in sound quality compared to other mixers (for example, A&H, Rane, Ecler, Rodec), has lags of approximately 1/2 a beat on the upfaders making cutting with the upfaders a pain (what's the point of having a 4 channel battle mixer if you aren't able to use 4 sources simultaneously and are limited to cutting between two channels?)...those things combined, what exactly makes it the best mixer? It may have features, but it's certainly lacking in the basic features that the world's best mixers (and even the world's cheapest mixers) all have down packed.

I think the LED's make it the best looking mixer. I was thinking of buying one and mounting it to my window instead of Christmas lights.
Go with Rane, A&H, or others Mufasa. ;-) You'll pay more, but you'll see, hear, and feel why. ;-)
