OK....I currently run 2 Technics Mk5s with a vestax PMC-07 Pro all backed by Rane's SSL. I really don't like the 3 band eqs on my 07 so I am considering upgrading. The reason why I dislike the EQs are, they do not fully kill and I am used to rotary knobs so I feel I can't mix as well in terms of returning my bass etc.. to the point i started at. I like to both scratch (hip-hop) and mix (trance/techno) so I need a mixer that will do well with both. The options I have come up with so far are A.) Keep the 07 B.)REPLACE the 07 with either of the following PMC 05 Pro 3, PMC-007, Rane TTM 54i, or if I am daring enough the TTM-56. I want to spend about 400-500 on a mixer. I REALLY like the PMC-007 BUT I hate and I mean hate how it has rounded edges because I planned on getting 2 Turntable cases and a battle bridge and I doubt the battle bridge would work with the 007. What would you do if you were mE??
