Good find, thanks AS. Although I sold my DXMPro, it's good to know you can mod it with the PXF. I wonder if this mod works on the DXM09? If so, I might get that mixer again. It's a great 3 chnl mixer with a decent xfader and a PXF fader would make it an awesome 3chnl mixer. Tranqui what do you think?

Thanks for the find AS but I don't understand why you would put a $150 fader in a $300 mixer.

:shock: Like me, he probably wasn't aware it costs that much. Dam, that's one expensive xfader.

You can get it for a lot less but still...
It's like putting a $1000 paint job on an '83 Corolla. :-)

well justin...people who love their mixer like an dxm09 now know they can upgrade for 100 bucks more to a great fader... lets say i wanted a 56 really badly... but i dont have the loot... well for 100 bucks more i can get a great fader... but if u have the money go for a better mixer... prox is really for people who cant afford to buy a hole new unit...

I think I'm getting my paycheck soon 8) and considering that I was planning to (finally) get ableton, the korg legacy collection and an efx-1000 (I have a workaround for the dxm09's lack of send/return ready in case you were wondering) this month, I might just spend 100 EUR more and do some easy resoldering to get me THE kickass über-crossfader. if this mod worked with a cp-pro mixer and my mixer is cp-pro compatible, why shouldn't it work for me?

sorry, but in case of the dxm09, what you said is bullshit... I'm all into dynamic mixing action, and the filters & kills on the dxm09 are unbeatable. the only mixer I would choose over the dxm09 is the a&h xone:3d (I haven't tested the djm-800 yet, so that might change, but it's unlikely). but if I had the money to go with that one, I'd get a virus TI synth.

@Tranqui - I knew you'd be syked dood. :)
@Agipro - For some of us the xfader ranks a lot higher than the paint on a car. It's more like putting in a new engine. It's one of the main highlights of the mixer. ;)

Tru enough bro - no argument here.

I would have bought one of these for my Xone:92 but the only American Dealer (at the time) had an estimated delivery of 2 -3 weeks for an overnite shipment selection price......they had it in stock but it takes them this long to process an order...... :confused:
Anyway canceled the order.

The X-fader in the 1500S is made at the same place these are ......... so it has been mentioned many times before.
So take it as you will.
In many malls you can find Payless Shoe stores and Foot Locker/Action as well..... :lol:
Sorry I just thought that was funny....anyway it seems they may be made by the same OEM...but I have yet to see/hear someone just state that instead leaving it to interpretation....... :rolleyes:

Not to change the topic, but any experience with the dxm06? Don't need the 3 channels of the dxm09, so the dxm06 seems to fit the bill of an inexpensive 2 channel 10" mixer with effects.

Hey, I'm sorry if I offended you tranqui; it certainly was not my intention. If your happy with your mixer and it serves you well then that's all that matters.
